The failure rate of 1st graders in Guatemala is very high because children in poverty can’t afford preschool or kindergarten, nor do they have toys or books at home that give them the opportunity to learn skills necessary for future academic learning.
In our preschool, young children learn through fun classroom activities and creative play. Story time develops language skills and encourage students’ listening skills and comprehension. And they learn how to be students. Our preschool prepares them to be successful students in primary school!
