"I've known Vicki for over 20 years and know, as her former coworker, what a dedicated humanitarian she is. Creating Opportunities for Guatemalan is an expression of her passion to help those who need help. Vicki and William work tirelessly to open doors for those willing to grow through learning and hard work. Not only do they create a safe place for young people to study and develop, but they also hire local women and men to work at the school and on various projects outside of the school. During the pandemic, Vicki and her staff provided weekly food baskets to the local villagers.
I have donated to Creating Opportunities for Guatemalan since its inception, and I am proud to support such an all-encompassing project."

I’m very impressed with so many aspects of this organization! For example, the welding and construction skills taught there enable young men, and less frequently young women, to find work in those fields, thus enabling them to help support their families and also to benefit their communities. A big help during these hard times. -

"Wow!!! I can't say enough good things about this organization. I donate to many, many charities and have had considerable experience working with many charitable groups both in my job and my private life. This group and its management are exceptional.
First of all, they use every dollar that is donated to create opportunities for Guatemalans. There is no overhead for board executives. Every penny contributed goes towards providing an education or instruction in occupational skills to Guatemalan children and adults.
Underprivileged children are educated in the building complex maintained by Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans by a well-qualified staff all the way from preschool and primary school to university level. All students' school expenses are paid through donations and qualifying motivated students go on to study at university.
I have seen this organization at work in Guatemala. And it truly is amazing and worth supporting. Right now, I personally sponsor 3 students and pay for numerous necessary expenses for the organization as I can. It is a privilege for me to be associated with this group."

Since my wife Kay and I first visited Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans about 7 years ago, we have continued to be impressed with the quality of the organization. They have grown from a very basic helping group to having a computer lab, a library, vocational education, and numerous other trainings that contribute impressively to those children and the community. We are blessed to support them both in spirit and financially.
