Lizzie Rampersad - English teacher/Administrative Intern
"I volunteered with Creating Opportunities for Guatemalans multiple times. In 2019, I taught English to students from kindergarten to high school, creating lesson plans and teaching modules. In 2022, I was sponsored by McGill University for an internship in which I taught English, ran swimming lessons, and I also worked as an administrative assistant to the organization, aiding in policy and constitutional development at the leadership level and outreach for ongoing projects. I also shadowed the Social Worker to conduct home visits of the families in the organization. I valued my time greatly working with everyone and hold dear my memories working with all the children."
